How to Prepare your Wall for Paint

Hi! This is John on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip I will be talking about preparing for paint. Now that we have finished priming our walls we are almost ready to put paint on, there is just a couple of things that we need to do first. What you want to do now is take a look at some of the joints that you have taped even thought this is primed this joint right here was not sanded very good so at this point I need to go back and sand that and smooth that out. There is couple of other divots that I found here that just need a little more mud, a little more primer and then we are ready for paint. Another thing that I chosen to do at this point before I put my paint on is to take ceiling paint and go around the perimeter of my ceiling with that ceiling paint. This is going to make it a lot easier to paint your ceiling once we get to that step.
