Plyometric exercise should NOT be done by children of this age. Their joints and ligaments are still developing and you are looking at causing very early onset of joint damage. I'm sorry but some of your video's have good intentions and I can see you have based these off of the Gym Jones / "300" workout but again not for children. The exercise you have above with the boy falling on his knees has to be the worst idea of exercise I have ever seen. Your knees are not designed to the force impact of your body weight landing on them. I would suggest if this is your child you invest in Advil, Ice packs and get a good orthopedic doctor ready to work on his knees in the next couple of years. Shame on you. ~Red

Burst Ups Ply metrics Ballistic Training for Kids

This is Julio Anta from Anta’s Fitness & Self Defense Miami, Florida bringing you some classes on children’s functional training on behalf of Expert Village. Okay again, some plyometric ballistic training. Strengthening his body, utilizing the entire body; these are called burst ups. He’s going to throw his feet forward and bring them back, but he’s got to do it in a fast bursting way for functional training. Go! Breathe, and stop. Alright, that’s the most beginner’s way. We want to make it a little bit more difficult now. He’s going to burst up, squat up, squat down and do it again. Ready, go! Squat and back. Keeping the lower back and the core tight works the entire body to make him a better athlete, get him in good shape and workout his abs also.
