How to Have an Open House When Selling a Home
Hi! This is Paul Louis Muller your neighborhood Realtor, you can find me on the web at http://callpaul.yourkwagent.com, there’s no www in that address folks, on behalf of expertvillage.com I’d like to welcome you. We spoke about a brokers open, and I mentioned something about an open house. Now let me explain what open house is; it’s a little different from a brokers open. An open house is something that you should expect your Realtor to do for you at least once a week, preferably on a Sunday or a Saturday just for a couple of hours. But basically it’s exactly what it is: an open house. It’s when your Realtor hosts basically a little showing of your property to the public. He’ll put signs all around the neighborhood leading people to the property—open house, open house—with these little arrows pointing in the direction, maybe with the address there and a sign in front of the lawn, maybe with some balloons to catch the eye of cars passing by. And people will come in and check out the property. He’ll then have them sign in, take down their information, give them a little flyer and say you know look around, check out the property it’s a 3-2, it’s a 2-2 with Central AC, all updated, and basically it’s your opportunity to, or the Realtors opportunity to showcase the property to your neighborhood, and it’s a very effective way of selling properties.
