Thai Massage Lower Back Stretch

Hi, my name is Melisa Brown and we are doing Thai-Massage. A great way to do this with your partner is to stretch their lower back. I am going to stand up very carefully and will be using my knees when I stand up that way I am not going to be engaging my lower back. So I am standing up using my back straight and I am bringing the feet together. I am going to see what the range in motion is so I am just kind of pushing in forward a little bit and see where the range of motion is. Now this is called the plow. A lot of things in Thai-Massage are very similar to what they do in Yoga. They call it Lazy man’s Yoga. If you can spread your arms, spread eagle please. I am knocking their knees open, relaxing their hips; I am standing in between and placing my toes underneath their armpits. Now this is very funny but it is fun and it’s great for your back. I am bringing the feet around and I am just on top of my knees. I am bringing the feet together. I am going to be pushing the feet towards their face and giving it a little rotation like a little circle, like a little oval. It is called tush to tush because my tush is coming close to her tush. You can do this three times. I can stand back just a little bit and we can do the same thing again. It’s a great lower back stretch. Also a great hamstrings stretch. I am standing out as quickly as possible because it can be very very uncomfortable. I am going to give it a nice little stretch on the legs again.
