Understand Safety in Offshore Fishing

On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Captain Rafael Mayans down here in South Florida with Sea Cross Sports Fishing Inc. Today we are going to explain to you offshore fishing techniques. Offshore fishing; safety; very, very extremely important. Always make sure you have very well equipped boat; life preservers and all the proper safety equipment. When chartering a boat, try to make sure and ask the Captain hey, can you please point out where my life preserver’s at and where basically all your safety equipment that I need to know while on your excursion. If it's a good captain and a good crew, they are going to come right up to you and explain to you and show you where all the safety gear is right before the excursion. So offshore fishing requires a lot more than just thinking, about going out and having fun. You really got to put your head to it and make sure you have all the proper safety equipment aboard the vessel at all times.
