How to Use a Bleeder Wrench on Brakes

Hi! This is John on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will be taking you through step 2 in our procedure for bleeding brakes. Next you need to locate the caliper housing. If you are doing disc brakes, the caliper is sitting on the rotor. As you look at the caliper, you want to find the bleeder screw. The bleeder screw typically has a rubber cap over it. This is what we are going to use when we bleed our brakes. This is where the brake fluids are going to come out of. You can go ahead and remove that cap. It should just pop right off. You will notice there is a nut and a little hole where the brake fluid is going to come out of. Next you need to locate the correct wrench that will fit on to the bleeder screw. Now if you go ahead and loosen this now, brake fluid is going to come out so we are going to wait on doing that.
