Sitting & Bridge Stretches for Beginner Gymnastics
My name is Sibylle Walters. I’m the owner-director of Flairs Gymnastics located in Davie, Florida. You can find us on the web at www.flairsgymnastics.com. And now we’re going to demonstrate the third part of our warm up. Ladies sit back down, now we’re going to do a table stretch. Put your hands behind you, lift up your bottom nice and tall. Don’t put your head back, lift one leg up and put it down and the other leg up and down, and lie down nice and tall. Position your hands by your ears, then bend your knees, push up into a bridge, nice and tall. Very good and come back down. hold on to your knees and rock and roll, after you do a bridge you always must do rock and roll. Very good, sit on your knees. Now we stretch our wrists, fold your hands and roll your wrists, put your hands behind your back and stretch your shoulders, nice and far all the way back, nice and far. Excellent. Stand back up, put your hands behind your back and bend over forward, nice and far, take it easy. And we’ll be right back.
