The Square Path of Your Golf Swing
Hi my name is Kensey Snyder on behalf of Expert Village. We’re going to talk about the square path. This is the path of the club that is going to give us the straightest shots. It is one that moves more like a gate through the impact zone, up into the finish so you can see it’s going to be more rounded around our body this way and ultimately the golf swing is a circle, it’s not quite like a ferris wheel nor is it a circle on the ground, it’s in between. So our path is going to be inside square and inside. So it’s like a gate closing, so from here to there through the ball. And this is going to be a product from using our big muscles, the right way our chest our sternum continuing to turn through the shot, in this way. And that is going to give us the straightest ball fight, the best ball fight that we can possibly have. So unlike the specialty shots we talked about, hooks, draws, fades, slices, this is the one you’re going to want to use off of your tee ball to hit it the straightest. It’s going to give us the best contact because it’s coming more of a level strike rather than coming way up when we came from the inside out or steep across it in the outside in. so this is going to give us more of a level strike, be able to use it off the club properly and hit it more solid which everyone I know wants to do.
