How to Finish the Mixture for Coconut Shrimp Dipping Sauce
All right we are back to show you the final steps on the coconut shrimp dipping sauce and this is the almost finished product. I've got this on a very low flame. We let the cream reduce down on to the other ingredients that we showed you in the previous video and its this nice thick, almost syrupy consistency; almost like a gravy actually. I've already tasted just a little bit of it and I need an acidic element in there to cut through these flavors. So I've got some white wine vinegar here and I am really just going to put in just a little dab of that; just a little dab will do us and I am going to swirl that around just a little bit and what is going to happen is the acidic quality of that white wine vinegar is going to cut through all these sweet flavors that we've thrown in there and we actually balanced the product. That's going to do it my friends. At the very last minute what we are going to do is just grind in just a little bit of sea salt and we are going to show you how to strain this and get it ready for service.
