Hi my name is Valerie with expertvillage.com we are to talk about how to things with twins from conception to 18 months. In this segment we are talking about sleeping and how to get your child to sleep through the night. In the begin of course they need to wake up every three hours and make there feed which is normal. For the first months if you are nursing you can bring them into bed with you is always a option and have them nurse. You could get a little shut eye that way and it makes it easier for both of you and the baby is able to cuddle against your body. Now when three or four months comes along you can start to wing them from those mid times feedings and try to get them to sleep through the night. Some parents feel that it is mean and don't do it. It is going to be based on what you decided to do for yourself. When they where 3 ½ months I wing them from there mid times feedings and there was a couple of nights where they did have some problems crying and wanting to be feed but you get through it and you just push on and probably within the week they have been start sleeping through the night and there was not any problems. You always want to make sure that you feed them at the same time and try to put them at the same time. They are not always going to sleep that way but if you do that they will get on the same pattern and the majority naps naps and eating schedules would be the same time.
