This is Salsa Mia at Yuka Lounge on South Beach. You can find us on the web at salsamia.com. My name is Susan and this is Alex. We’re here to show you the basics of salsa. Now we’re going to work on is an outside turn for the gentlemen. Once again, you’re going to think about your cross body lead, gentlemen. Now, for the girls, all you’re doing is a cross body lead. I’m going to demonstrate the step. It’s 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and basic; that’s all you do, okay. Now, come back to this angle. Now, if I do it in slow motion, the first 3 counts that we’re going to do is open up, just the same 3 as the cross body lead. 1, 2, and 3. Here men, we’re going to do side walk with the right. Girls, you want to go forward. Men, as you step side with the right, you’re still going to push the girl like a cross body lead. What are we going to do men? We’re going to turn to the left. We’re going to go right, left, and right and back to the basic, so you keep turning until you find the girl.
