Hi! I’m Mike with expertvillage.com. Today I’m going to show you how to connect to your other Macintosh in order to get files or share files between your two computers. Alright, what we’re going to do is we’re going to make sure that we’re in finder up here in the top left corner with no program open, From go, go down to connect to server. Now if you use that terribly often you’ll probably end up using the apple K shortcut on the keyboard. What you want to do is that IP address you jotted down just a moment ago, the 192.168.0.102, for example. You type that in and use quick connect. What that’s going to do is allow you to see files that were shared on the other computer, which is what it’s calling a server. Once you’ve pulled that up, you can browse, move, change, copy, whatever you need to do. Now you’ve successfully shared files between two computers.
