Calcium Heavy Recipes for Healthy Fruit & Vegetable Smoothies
Hi! I’m Nili Nathan with Expert Village. This next smoothie is a calcium rich smoothie; it’s very good for your bones. It’s got a lot of calcium in it; probably even more than even milk. You start off with our kale and about a handful of parsley, a carrot, and a handful of green broccoli. We’ll start with our base, which is rice milk. About one to one and a half cups of rice milk, or you can use soymilk. I wouldn’t use regular dairy milk, but water or juice will be fine too. Put all your ingredients in there. We should probably sweeten this up a bit. This is a great drink for all you women that are considering with getting more calcium in your diet and you don’t particularly like to drink milk. And there you have it. We don’t have to throw out any pulp; it’s nice and frosty. This makes a good smoothie to have for lunch or even for dinner, because that way you can drink your vegetables.
