Energy Fruit & Vegetable Smoothie Recipes
Hi! I’m Nili Nathan with Expert Village. Today I’m demonstrating smoothies. This next one is an energy smoothie. What you’ll need is your base, which I’m going to be using almond milk, but you can use regular milk, soy milk, or rice milk if you’d like. Then I’m going to be using an apple. I remove the stem but you can keep every thing else, the peel and the seeds, in the apple and just cut it into quarters like so. The next thing you’ll need is bee pollen. Bee pollen is a very high source of protein and it’s an energy super food. Actually, a lot of people get some allergy relief when they slowly introduce local bee pollen into their diet. That’s kind of an interesting fact. Then honey or agave, either one that you want to sweeten. First, we’ll pour our base. This is measuring out to about 2 cups of almond milk. I’ll put in half the apple and a nice scoop of the bee pollen and a squirt of honey. That’s the wrong top. Put my top on and away we go. This will give you the added energy you need. It’s something that’s wonderful to drink when you’re feeling that little low. There you have it. That taste so good. I hope you try it.
