Now, we’re going to do the last one which is the nosegay. It’s basically just a small, rounded, almost ball shaped arrangement. So we’re going to use the same type of filler flower to start this out and to create our first general shape. Again, you’ve got to be careful not to go too big, so just start out by creating about the perimeter of how big you want your arrangement to be. In this case, we’re doing it circular so it’s going to be symmetric, side to side. So I’m just going to go around and start putting in. Again, you want to make sure that, even though this one is not cascading, these flower should kind of drape down because you want them to pretty much cover up the white basket, you don’t want that to be hanging out of the arrangement. So aim downwards and get those flowers covering that up. Lots of times things people don’t think about when it comes to greenery is it’s okay to chop out and I’ve kind of already done it to all these, but to chop out the middle of a piece of greenery and use the rest of it. Use the bottom half of it somewhere with it all stuck together already. In this case, most of these pieces are a little bit too long. Once you get all the way around, just kind of look at it and make sure there’s no edge that looks like it’s a lot bigger than the other since again, we’re making a round, ball like shape. I’m just going to continue this until I get a basic general shape worked out with this heather and then you’ll add your main flower.
