Hey there! I've been watching your vides many times, and I rally like them. They are professional straight to the point and very inspiring! So I have question that really kills me - Since I see the guitar you're playing in this great video is some of fender's "HH" and since it sounds really powerful I wanted to ask you, is there any chances my Squier Bullet Strat SSS could sound as heavy as yours(lets imagine we have the same amps processors and rest of the accessories) if I built in the pickups and basically transform it from SSS to HSH or even only HSS or SSH...? I AM a newbie and I'm about to buy TonePort UX2 but I want to play heavy stuff right from the start... You can also recommend me some other combinations that you think are the best for my needs and my needs are to be able to play stuff like - Frank Klepacki, Static-X, Rammstein, and such stuff with lot of muting JUST like in this video... ya know - "CH-KA CH-KA DZZZZ! CH-KA DZZ! DZZZ!" :D Sorry for the long and kinda stupid questions, and I would really appreciate your answer very much! thanx!

Palm Muting Techniques for Metal Guitar
Hi, this is Gary Schutt and I am going to talk to you about palm muting. Palm muting is when you take your palm, rest it right where the strings lay on the bridge saddle, right about there and that way you go from an open sustained string sound to a very chunky muted rock tone. Open, muted. This is a very popular heavy metal message. You can switch it up a bit by going from the open playing to the muted playing and you get a nice of lot different dynamics. Also comes in handy when soloing.
