Setting Boundaries for Stay at Home Moms
Hello! This is Jacqueline on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip I will be talking about setting limits for your household when you are working at home. I know you are very busy and have deadlines to meet. However this does not mean anything goes in your household while you are away on business also known as in your office. If the children are demanding your attention, don't let them push you too far. For example, breaking the rules because they know that you are distracted and thus really trying to focus elsewhere. If there is a limit on TV watching, adhere to it. Same thing with video games, if they are hungry its best to fix them a snack or meal before you become engrossed in your work. Depending on the ages of your children, you probably don't want them taking on the cooking duties causing disaster so know what your limits are, set the rules and don't break them just to get your job done; put family first.
