Creating Personal Time in a Home Based BusinessHello! I'm Jacqueline on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip I will be talking to older kids about mommy time. At a certain age, your child will become fully aware and capable of understanding what mommy and daddy time is. Call it whatever you like to call it but be upfront with your older kids. You can begin and trust them with the care of younger siblings to a degree asking them to help be your eyes and ears as you multi-task nearby. They will love the responsibility. Discuss rewards for helping out. Perhaps a fishing trip will be in order if they don't argue with each other long enough for you to get your phone call made. There can be a thin line between reward and bribery. But be careful that they don't end up extorting gifts from you and manipulating the situation. Do explain the situation and let them know this is where the money is coming from. That they want to pay for their food, clothes, toys and fun things that you all do together as a family.
