Hello! I'm Jacqueline on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip I will be talking about time management with kids at your home office. The key word here is prioritize. Where kids are concerned they are no deadlines so they are going to demand attention no matter how much work you have on your plate. They still need to eat no matter how busy your schedule is which means, dirty dishes. So how do you manage your time effectively enough to get the job done without being accused of child neglect. Well, I can't promise that will be a easy job but I can guarantee that it can be done. If your children are school age so you just need to set your schedule around drop off and pick ups, taking care of business meetings and phone calls mainly during these hours. Next, leave the things that are more easily completed for when they are around such as filing or doing Internet searches. I don't know what your business is but getting organized and writing things down on your calendar or there is a huge chance that you will forget about things or get frazzled. Kids seem to have the affect on parents. So just try to sketch our your days the night before, have a routine with hard times and soft times and be flexible.
