10 for 200 Bidding Strategy in the Game of Spades

Hi, my name is Dan Kimbrough on behalf of expertvillage.com, in this clip we are going to discuss playing 10 for 200 in the game of spades. What 10 for 200 means is that when you bid you can get 10 books. You know this when you are bidding, whether you are playing cut throat or four player by yourself or you are playing with a team, you decide10 books is what you could get. So you bid 10 for 200, if you do get the 10 books you get 200 points instead of the 100 you would of received at 10 books at 10 points each. The thing is if you don't get all 10 books you lose 200 points. It is a risky bet but depending on how good your hand is and how well you are of a skilled spades player you could pull it off.
