Joining a Twist & Coil With Pipe Cleaners

Hi this is Andrew Jenkins on behalf of expertvillage.com. Now in this clip I'm going to be talking about pipe cleaner crafts specifically how to join a twist pipe cleaner into a coil pipe cleaner. So you could do some more advance projects. This is all building up to making some really fun crafts. Now first I'm going to take one normal length pipe cleaner. I going to coil it around the pencil really quickly. Right like this. I'm keeping kind of study in there. Just so I'm going to have another coil kind of tightly around I take that off and then I take another pipe cleaner. This one I'm going to use purple. Bend it right in the middle. Leave a little loop were the bend is and start twisting it down the length of the pipe cleaner. About half way down the length so a quarter length of the entire pipe cleaner. Now you take that and you insert the two pipe cleaner strands into the coil that you just made down where the twist is and this is what you end up it this thing if you ever remember in your biology class kind of look like what those viruses look like this is no where near that neat you got a little loop up here you could put all sort of things to tie it off. You also got these down here that you could also attach things to or coil them around if you need to. This is a very basic shape that is use a lot in pipe cleaners crafts.
