Setting Up the Embroidery Machine for Your Digital Embroidery Machine Design

I’m Anne Beckett with Anne’s Embroidery in Austin, Texas. Now here’s a hoop and when it says like this one says it’s a 3 ½ inch hoop, anyway it’s not what it says because that’s how big this part of the hoop is but when you put the top of the hoop in you loose a lot of that room. So it’s not really 3 ½ or 4 inches you’re probably looking at well about 3 inches of space to actually embroider because you also have to remove, almost every hoop is curved to some extent. This is a rectangular hoop but it’s curved so you have to make sure that your design is going to fit there. Now there’s a way to make sure and we always do this, don’t ever, ever, ever skip this process, I’ve booted my machine using a disk you can boot it using an Ethernet hub. Okay let’s find the design, so my menu here I have a directory, I’m hitting enter, bird s number one Sebastian. Hi I’m Anne Beckett with Anne’s Embroidery for Expert Village in Austin, Texas and I’m now hooping the fabric we’re going to use to sew Sebastian’s bird. I want to get it as straight as possible, you want to choose a hoop that is closest to the size of your design, now this design is very wide compared to tall, so we need to go with the smallest large hoop.
