Ron Gotlin. Biscayne Park Aikido Club Biscayne Park, Florida. I’m sensei and lead instructor. This technique is called Hiki Otoshi, it’s a throw based on the fact that he is attacking and there is going to be a punch thrown and I need to get out of the way of this punch. So in slow motion what it looks like is, as he attacks, I get off the line, I turn his wrist and that hand starts to come and it’s aiming for my head and as that hand aims for my head, I’m going to drop down underneath it and perform a throw. And what it’s going to look like is – get off the line, come here, come here, and throw down the line. Again from this direction – get off the line, come forward, and throw. That’s called Hiki Otoshi. Once again, my name is Ronald Gotlin, the Biscayne Park Aikido Club in Biscayne Park, Florida and I’d like to thank ExpertVillage.com for allowing me to do this demo for you. Thank you very much.
Wow, this is some of the worst display of Aikido I've ever seen. I'm saying this to be mean but I'm just baffled as to what nage and uke are doing.
