Disable the Fuel System for Vintage Auto Theft Prevention

Hi! I'm George Stonebrook for Expert Village and I am here to talk to you about preventing theft of your vintage car. Another thing you can do is to disable your fuel system so that the car will not run. Without gasoline, the car will not start making it very difficult to more. One of the items you can do is when you remove the cover for the carburetor, older cars are carbureted and not fuel injected, you can disable the fuel system by simply taking your main feed and blocking it. You can either disconnect and put a plug in there and this line here which is the main feed for the or just disconnect ans i line here which or you can disconnect it and obscure it someplace where it can't get fuel to the carburetor. Another think you can do is disable the carburetor vintage from the gas pedal which makes it very difficult to accelerate so once you disconnect the vintage, you can step on the gas pedal but the carburetor will not move. The car will never run faster than an idol. Very easy to do and then you put the cover back on of obscuring
