Men's Under Arm Turn in Rumba Dancing
This is Leslie Sack with expertvillage.com. My website is lesliesack.com and this is Rumba the dance of love and this is the men’s part for the box with the lady’s underarm turn. This is a nice slow turn for the ladies and guys you’re going to be doing two full boxes to complete this pattern. Here’s your part gentlemen. So it starts with slow quick-quick and you go back and you’re going to raise your left arm up, that’s the turning signal. Slow and then when you go side you’re going to give a little bend with your right hand so she can start her turn and then go forward, now turn quarter turn, side together back, side together so that’s the full pattern. From the top, so it goes slow quick-quick arm up, send her there for now turn and slow quick-quick. You don’t want to turn till you step forward in that second box otherwise you’re going to step on her, very important. Let’s do the whole thing one more time. Slow quick-quick arm up, quick-quick slow, quick-quick slow, quick-quick so that quarter turn is to your left gentlemen, okay.
