Ladies Back Rock Step in Rumba Dancing
This is Leslie Sack with expertvillage.com, my website is lesliesack.com. We’re doing Rumba, this is the ladies part for fifth position breaks or otherwise known as back rock steps and remember you watch the guy’s shoulders, if they turn a little bit turn with him. So it looks like this, slow quick-quick with your box step, quick-quick slow, quick-quick slow, here’s your first rock back, slow second one, third one, now you’re going to pivot on your left foot and step back slow quick-quick. Now this is the new direction that we’re facing okay. So let’s do it again, so the whole thing from the top, so we got slow quick-quick slow, quick-quick slow, side together side, side, rock step. Let’s do it, just put your handible in front of you, slow and he catches you again and back, side together. When you’re doing that last pivot you’re just going to pivot, I’m going to keep my knees together while I wait on the left foot and then I step back on my right foot, that’s the hardest part otherwise just stay right in front of him and mirror him and good luck.
