Cook & Serve Roast Garlic

Alright so we’ve got our roasted garlic out of the oven and again we put olive oil on the top of this and I cooked it inside the oven at about 400 degrees it took approximately 12 to 15 minutes if I had to guess and just a nice pretty golden color is what you’re after. And because we cut the tops of the cloves off now I left all the skin intact as well as the base on the actual garlic bunch here so we can go ahead and punch these out and they come out real nice and easy with your finger you just punch it out and we’ve got this nice pretty cloves that come out and they’re kind of soft and a little bit pasty, so what we do is we take a knife and dice these up and it has a really nice gooey paste consistency which is real, real good to use in cooking specific sauces and vegetables in the Italian vain of course, it’s really nice to be able to rub into proteins, red meats, pork and beef especially, it’s real nice to use as a pre-marinate. So we’ve punched all these guys out they slide out real nice we’ll discard all this cause we don’t need it it’s a done deal, so we’ve got some real nice pretty garlic cloves which are nice and soft golden brown on the top and as you squeeze them there’s that nice good garlic oil that’s been infused with some extra virgin olive oil actually too, so you got a nice good garlic product to cook with now.
