Create Proper Consistency in Cheese Mixture for Chili con Queso Dip

Okay, so we are back to showing you the Queso Dip and we are just about done. This is the consistency that we are looking for but is still quite a bit thick. So as I told you we poured off some of the residual cream mixture which was half and half, 2 parts and 1 part heavy cream. So I am just going to pour a little bit more of this in here and stir as I do that. We are looking for really consistency and a certain color here that is nice and dipable and that this is only taking about 7 ½ minutes in the microwave on high power. So we are going to fold in more of the cream here and get it where we need it. So we will heat this for about another 3 or 4 minutes and this is about the color and the consistency that we are looking for. We will heat this for another 3 or 4 minutes in the microwave and bring it out and fold in our vegetables and show you the finished product.
