How to Check Battery Fluid in a Vehicle

Hi! I’m William Myers with Subaru for Expert Village. Now we’re going to check your battery water in your battery. The first thing is I’m going to put on a pair of safety goggles because batteries have sulphuric acid in them and I don’t want to have any chance of anything getting in my eye. All you have to do is look straight down to make sure your water is above the cell line that’s a hard thing to describe but if you can see you can shake the car a little bit you can see the fluid moving inside each cell and we’ve checked that side, put your cap back on, push down, I’ve checked the other side both sides are full and put the caps back on. That’s how you check your battery water in a Subaru battery.
