Hi! I’m William Myers with Subaru for Expert Village. Okay now we’re going to check your brake fluid. This is your brake fluid master cylinder and this is the reservoir; it's right in front of the driver in the engine compartment by this shop tower all master cylinders on Subaru’s live in the same place, look pretty much like this, they all have a yellow cap from 1990 to present day and as you can see right here there’s a max line and there’s a low line right at the bottom and if I shake it you can see the fluid level move. So I know I don’t have to add any fluid level, if it was low all I’ve had to do is removing, remove the brake master cylinder cap and add fluid and as you can see on it it’s got a little open and close arrow so how you would open and close it. Well all I have to do is push it back down, reinstall and that’s how you check and fill your brake master cylinder.
