Tips for Dramatic Prom Makeup

Hi! This is Hollie and on behalf of Expert Village we’re going to talk about how you can jazz up your makeup. You already have your makeup on but what could you do to make it a little more dramatic maybe more something more than you would normally do for your special occasion and one of them can be contouring. So when you’re doing your foundation little imperfections that you might want to hide for example would be if you have like too wide of a nose you would take a darker color than the foundation that you started with and you would down the size of your nose cause dark will hide and lighter foundations would expand, so one of the tricks is to do a darker contouring line down the sides of the cheeks, on other side of the wide nose and the opposite is true for highlighting. So if you wanted to bring out a certain part of your face you would use a foundation that’s slightly lighter than the shade that you started with, an example would be maybe eyes that were set too close together, you would take your sponge with your lighter foundation and actually draw that foundation up through the corners of the nose and up into the forehead and this will brighten and open and create space between the eyes if you wanted to add that contouring to your makeup job.
