Adding a Kick Drum on a Drum Machine

Hi, I’m Amir from Precision Audio Productions and on behalf of Expert Village we’re going to talk about the pieces of a hip-hop beat and put together one starting with the kick. So what we’re going to do, this is the kick drum right here, I have several loaded and what a kick drum is, is the bass drum from the drum kit. It’s called a kick drum because it has a trigger, a pedal that triggers a mallet that hit it that’s hit with the foot. What we’re going to do is we’re going to go ahead and put this into our beat, we already have our main sample loaded. So what we’re going to do is put our kick drum in there and so we have the kick loaded in. I’m Amir from Precision Audio, thank you very much.
