Cue Sampling for DJs
Hey this is DJ Brady again on behalf of ExpertVillage.com. In this clip, I’m going to show you how to play with a little sample to add some spice to your mix. I’ve already got a drum beat looped on my second cd player, so let’s go ahead and bring it up. Now, I’m going to play with an old song that’s kind of fun. Get my sample set, a little fun we can have with it. Now let’s bring it on up, get my loop set back up on the other drum. Now what you can see I’m doing here, is I’ve got my “Break it on Down” sample set up with the hot start on the cue. Every time I push it. Now I’m going to play with bringing it in on the mix.
