EQ Settings When Using DJ Equipment
Hey this is DJ Brady again on behalf of ExpertVillage.com. In this clip, I’m going to demonstrate EQing on a channel. Start the track, we’ll start with a base EQ, as you can tell you can cut, you can boost the base, mid range and treble. You can do effective mixes by bringing in treble, bringing in bass only, treble and bass, or any variation of. Mixing with the EQ can help make a smoother transition when you’re beat mixing. We can take the bass line out as you’re going into the next. So, I’ll take the bass line out of track two, bring in the track and I’ll switch the bass lines. I’ll go ahead and fade it across. What I did is I basically transitioned from one bass line to the other, using the low frequency EQ.
