Review of Bowing Techniques for the Fiddle

Hi I'm David Kaynor for expertvillage.com. We have been playing the West End and I have gone into some detail about a approach to bowing which is aimed not at having at producing fiddlers who sound like me but at fiddlers that sound like them selves and I have broken this down into single bowing where we just played every eighth note. I have done some playing we we have played two strings and I did some playing were we use long bow strokes and short strokes sort of even mixed and now I'm going to try to put it all together and I'm going to play the tune trough twice at full speed and I'm going to use some slurs, some single strokes, some double strings, some single strings, and this is going to be the version du jour every day something is slightly different.
