Using Film Cameras

Hi! I'm Joey Gunz and you can check me out on line at www.joeygunz.com. I'm here on Expert Village today to talk to you about part 4 in our 16 part series about getting started in photography. Now some of you may be able to think back before the digital revolution about how cameras operate. You go to the store, you buy a roll of film, you throw it in your camera, you take some pictures and you take it off to the lab. Well ladies and gentlemen, I'm here to let your know that film isn't dead. Now it may have 1 foot in the grave but it's not dead. I've got several film cameras, I keep them loaded up at home and I still shoot with them and I send them off to the lab to get pictures printed. It's a great way to get some prints. You take them in and you get prints back, you give them out and you don't even have to think twice about it. Because in today's digital work flow, some post processing comes in on the back end. So keep in mind that film isn't dead. Don't be afraid to go to the grocery store, don't be afraid to go to your local camera shop. Pick up some rolls of film, you can get black and white, color film. Go and shoot away on your camera and keep the art alive. Film isn't dead and its not going to be dead any time soon. For Expert Village, I'm Joey Gunz. Check me out on line at www.joeygunz.com and we will see you for part 5 in just a second.
