How to Choose a Camera Bag

Hi! I'm Joey Gunz and you can check me out on line at www.joeygunz.com. I'm here today on Expert Village to talk to you on the 2nd part of our 16th part series getting started in photography. In the first part, we talked about the essentials in getting a camera. So if you have to beg, borrow or steal, do whatever you can to get your hands on a camera. It doesn't have to be an expensive camera. It could be like a Polaroid, camera phone, whatever. If it will capture an image, it will help boost your love of arts and get you started for photography. The 2nd thing you are going to have to do is whatever camera you choose, you are going to have to carry it around from a to be. Not only will you have to carry a camera, but you will have to carry accessories as well. Believe me, nothing is worst than looking for an accessory and not having it. So my suggestion to you is to make sure you invest in a quality camera bag. Now the bag that I use is actually a backpack style bag. This bag has heavy duty straps, professional quality straps and just a lot of compartments. We've got straps, we've got a cover down here to cover it up in case it should rain. We've got a little compartment here for pins and little knick knacks and memory cards for digital cameras. There is even a little strap, a little pocket on the side for laptop computer where you can slide it right down in there, may be store some cables or whatever but the very best part of this camera bag is just the nuts and bolts of it. The reason I love it so much is that when you open this bag up you've got compartments and you see all of my junk in here so please don't tell anybody. I'll keep my camera bag clean. There are as many compartments as you will need to carry all of your little photography doo-dads. Your light meter, your speed light and you can even keep your camera loaded and ready to go to shoot on a moments notice. So remember when you have to get from point a to point b and you want to take your camera with you, nothing beats a really sturdy dependable heavy duty camera bag. For Expert Village, I'm Joey Gunz. You can check me out on line at www.joeygunz.com. We'll see you for part 3 coming up next.
