Hi back in Christy Morgan's kitchen the macrobiotic chef and know we are going to be showing you some of your utensils that you would need to get started. First sauteeing and stir frying I always use wooden utensils in my pans that we just discussed. I never want to use metal cause that scraps the bottom of those. Also one of my favorites tool is called the skimmer it is Japanese they come in a few different sizes and I use these when I'm blanching vegetables to pull the vegetable out of the boiling water. Also these are Le Creuset spatulas they are amazing they can go into sauteeing with a 1000 degrees. oh. So you use for stirring and also I use them when I need to scrap things out of the bowl or out of the measuring cup. What is this little thing Christy? This is called a rimmer and you juice citrus with this. Oh okay. Also you always want to have high quality knives that is really the most important thing as a chef or when you are cooking. To have high quality knives this s Japanese and you could there is all different kinds and always want to have a wooden cutting board. Okay no plastic. No plastic cause that is going to ruin your knife.
