Using Blur Filters with Text in Final Cut Pro 5

This is C.J. South representing expertvillage.com. In this clip I will finish up talking about adding the blur filter and then we will get to look at and enjoy our final results. Now that we put that other clip in there and that down beat now is going to cut into that clip. So an idea spot for this blur is to be put some text here. Like some nice text. So let me go ahead and show you. I rendered one out for you with some text in it and you can kind of see what it looks like. This is with the blur and the text. Let's just make this canvas nice and large for you and now watch. Nice and smooth. Just taking basic clips and just adding these little nuisances to them instead of a fade and doing a blur fade. It just makes it look all the better.
