I have seen a lot of great lessons but this tops them. Great playing but also great teacher, seems to know what someone who is learning needs to see and hear.

Finger Independence for Guitar
Hi this is Jeff Isbell on behalf of ExpertVillage.com. Picking patterns are helpful tools, but the real goal is to move beyond patterns. What you’re looking for is complete finger independence, finger liberation if you will because what you really want is to be able to get to any note you need and when you need it. After all, none of this is really about finger gymnastics, it’s about music. Now we’ve gone over the basics, we’ve had some short examples, but let me take a little time to go deeper into some examples.
