Hi! My name is Dan, and I am here with Expert Village. Today I am going to show you a number of fairly uncommon knots that are still useful and are decorative. The knot that I am about to tie is going to be the double jug slim. I am going to tie two of the same knots which were shown previously in my camping section. It is a good way to sling two jugs, and you can hang them over your shoulder. So have a tail end hanging on your left side. Make a bite or a turn in the line, fold it over towards you. Now cross the two loops in the center and bring the initial bite underneath, through the hole created in the middle, up through and fold the two loops you have just created down. Place your first jug and tighten, so there is one of the jug knots. Now simply tie a second jug knot. Place your next jug inside the knot. Make sure they are secure, and ideally, if I was tying two jugs like this, I would use a thinner piece of line, but for demonstration purposes, it is easier to use a thicker one. Make sure they are both tight. Now you have two jugs on a sling which can be thrown over your shoulder. If you need to go down to a water source to fill up water bottles, this is an excellent way to carry multiple loads on your shoulder as opposed in your hands. So that is the double jug knot.
