This is C.J. South representing expertvillagae.com. In this clip I am going to show you how to create a cool title effect. Now I will show you how to create a cool little title of effect for yourself to kind of make your name and all cool like. So go ahead and open up some text, drag it down to your time line, double click it and bring it back up to the viewer. Go over to controls now, change it to your name so whatever your name is whether it be Sarah, Suzanne, John, Jacob or whatever, or if it happens to be C.J. South that is cool too. So now it is C.J. so you can view it in the canvas. All right, so we are going to go ahead and make this text size a little bit larger. Ramp it to 54 looks good depending on how big your name is, how long. We are going to set a key frame for tracking so why don't you go ahead and come to the first frame in your time line of that text and set a key frame for tracking. Then move over just a little bit, a few second into it and set another key frame for tracking. All right now we have two tracking key frames and you can just zoom in the viewer there to see it a little bit closer. Now your second key frame you are going to keep at 1. The first key frame though is going to change to 200 but before we do that I want you to click your origin. You see it is over here in the center. Well we want to move it to the side so move it to the left here. Righter over and change our alignment now from center to left. Okay. Now it is left. So what we are going to do now is now we are going to change that tracking. Change the tracking all the way up to 200. See how it is spreading out. Essentially what is going to happen now is it is going to whoosh in from the left and come together to create your name. Now as you can see there is still a C left up on the canvas so we are just going to do a little fade in. Grab your pen tool and come over here the beginning of your clip and just do a slight little fade. There we go. Put a couple of points in there and then fade it down. Pretty cool huh?
