Donating to Thrift Stores & Junk Sellers

Hello! My name is Denise Robinson, and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I’m her to talk about junking with the thrift shop and yard sale in mind. In this instance, we’re going to talk about donating. The easiest place to donate is at the thrift shop. You can gather all the things in your house that you’re tired of, you have no room for them, or you just want to clean out your place and start over fresh with more stuff. Just gather them up and you can either call a local thrift shop and have them come out and get it, or if you feel adventurous put your things in the car take them to the thrift shop of your choice. You can sometimes get a tax certificates off on that, so you can put it towards your tax write-off. Yard sales, I’m not quite sure you would go that route, but if you feel like you just want to donate to somebody that’s in need that’s fine too.
