How to Find Great Thrift & Junk Shops
Hello! My name is Denise Robinson, and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I’m here to talk about junking. With this is mind, yard sales and thrift shops. In this segment, we’re going to talk about where and how to find these places. Well first, for thrift shops, easiest place to look for them is right here in your yellow pages. You can go to thrift shops, consignment stores, and second hand stores. You can find them here in your local yellow pages, or if you want to venture out, get online and maybe find the next counties yellow pages. That’s how you find thrift shops. Word of mouth is a good place too. For yard sales, just pick up your local newspaper, look into that, and find where the yards sales are in your neighborhood. Or you can be driving around and see signs that people are having yard sales at certain days at certain times. Well, what to expect is thrift shops is more structured, it’s in a building and usually it’s owned by a company that is trying to make a profit out of the things that are donated to them. Yard sales are just your everyday people having things in there house, dragging them outside, and selling them to you.
