Introduction to Thrift Store Shopping
Hello! My name is Denise Robinson, and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I’m here to talk about junking. In this instance, junking is going to mean yard sales and thrift shops. I’m going to tell you where and how to find them, what to expect when you get there on the types of items that you might find at these places. How to barter and haggle for the things you want. How to determine the value of the things that you find, you never know, donating some of your items out of your home so you can make room for more stuff. And making it your favorite past time. Maybe you get bored on a Saturday morning, you want to get up and just go junking. And last but not least, some thrift shop arts. So what are some of the things that you might find. They might be broken, they might not, but it’s just to give you a little idea of things that you could put together with the things that you find at thrift shops and yard sales, but we know it as junking.
