How to Do the Catch Step in Jazz Dancing
I’m Kelly-Anne. On behalf of Expert Village, I’ll be demonstrating advanced jazz dancing techniques. Another advanced jazz step is catch step and down. The catch step is syncopated; it goes and 1, and 1. It’s quicker than our single count. So it’s catch, and catch. You can do that to the front or to the side. You can also do it quazi. It is basically follow the foot, relevae and down. Thanks for watching advanced jazz dancing on Expert Village. I’m Kelly-Anne. You can visit me at 56dance.com. Special thank you to the Goddess store for letting us use their studio.
