How to Do Triplet Turns in Jazz Dancing
I’m Kelly-Anne. On behalf of Expert Village, I’ll be demonstrating advanced jazz dancing techniques. Okay, triplet turns. Three point turn; 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, tondue right, left, right, left, 1, 2, 3, 4. It can also be smaller. You can also go to the back; I was doing it forward. So you have 1, 2, 3, tap, 1, 2, 3, tap. The arms can be anywhere, or they can be up. There are several dance studios in you area that would be very happy to have you join their group classes. There are lots of choreographers who specialize in different types of jazz dancing. Just try them all out, see which one you like the best, and stick with that for a couple of years. You’ll be grooving just fine. Thanks for viewing this segment about advanced jazz dancing. I’m Kelly-Anne. For more information, you can go to my website, 56dance.com.
