How to Double Tongue in Irish Flute Playing

Hi I'm David Cantieni on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to be sharing with you some useful techniques for practicing the Irish style flute. So now I'd like to show you how to double tongue. Again this would take some practice. Generally tu, cu, tu, cu, tu, cu,tu so you can go and again don't move your jaw. This is generally not use in Irish style. Occasionally someone would use that technique. Sometimes it is a triplet and it would go tu cu tu. Or. In some of my practice though I love to do just the practice and then may be then and you figure it out where you can get the cu into the tune if you play. I was under emphasizing the tu and emphasizing the cu which is the off off beats of the scale for instance. Like that. Okay good luck.
