Slow Finger Exercises for Playing the Irish Flute

Hi I'm David Cantieni on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to be sharing with you some useful techniques for practicing the Irish style flute. Now remember when you are practicing take your time. You don't want to rush through any of the exercising that you might be doing. Music is all about time and the next exercise has to do with your hands. I'm going to assume that you actually know about where to put your hands. If not it looks like this. What you have to do is train each one of your fingers I like to thing of them like puppies. When you train a puppy you need to repeat and repeat and repeat. Same with you fingers and think that it has to do with connecting your nerve impulses, your brain message with things you want to do. So the way to do that is to practice with each finger. I think you get the idea and I wont continue with the rest of those. You notice that my hands stay relax, that I am relax, and again pay attention. Just feel how how it feels. Don't beat yourself if you start feeling tight, or wind up but do try to counteract that with some relaxation.
