How to Avoid Injury When Using a Nail Gun
This is Rob McManhon for Expert Village. Now that was just a eighth penny nail if you had a proper framing nail that would nail your fingers together. So you just have to be very careful. Another thing to pay attention to is not having the gun too close up to the edge. Firing like this - that nail is going to shoot right over this board and into your hand or off in that direction and hit anything or anyone standing there. This has the potential to being one of the most dangerous tools. So keep your hands a safe distance away, have your gun lined up and compressed to where you want to shoot and pull the trigger once. Once you get better at it you will be able to use the rapid fire trigger and just bounce it and shoot and get it done quickly. But until you are at that point be sure fire one nail at a time and only when you've got it perfect.
